Working for Us

We are proud of what we do and believe that our ability to successfully support students and the HE sector is down to our people.  We recruit people with the skills and expertise to help us achieve our vision, and share our passion for leading quality in HE.

We offer flexible working, an enhanced leave allowance, and focus on providing learning and development opportunities for all who work for us. We provide a safe and healthy working environment and an organisational culture which promotes diversity, inclusivity and respect.

QAA doesn’t stand still and is constantly developing, to ensure we continue to meet the needs of those we support in the UK and internationally.

Our Values

Where we are based

Gloucester

Gloucester is a multicultural city surrounded by the rural Gloucestershire countryside, including the Forest of Dean, the Stroud Valley and Cotswold Hills. It has a population of around 120,000 and a rich history, with Roman foundations and a striking medieval cathedral.

Our Gloucester office overlooks the historic docks, home to everything from regular farmer’s markets to the annual Tall Ships Festival. Situated near the Gloucester Quays, we are within an easy walk of shops, restaurants and a gym.

Glasgow

Scotland’s largest city is home to many of Scotland’s leading businesses and offers cultural, social and sporting venues. The city hosts a variety of events and boasts Scotland’s only surviving medieval cathedral. Scenic countryside and coastal views are within easy reach.

Our Glasgow office is located in the heart of Glasgow city centre, on Bothwell Street, between Hope Street and Wellington Street.

London

In London we share offices with JISC, just a short walk from Trafalgar Square. There is a wealth of major London tourist attractions in the surrounding streets. From Nelson's Column to Covent Garden, from the famous West End to the London Eye, there is so much here to enjoy.

Cardiff

Wales’ capital city offers an impressive range of cultural and sporting activities. An area steeped in history, Cardiff has much to see and visit including the imposing Cardiff Castle.

We share our Cardiff office with NUS Wales in the vibrant Cardiff Bay area. Theatres, restaurants, tourist attractions, a spa and a cinema are all on our doorstep. Shopping haven central Cardiff is an easy commute away.
